Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to 1st Choice Mobile Welding.
By accessing or using our website, contacting us, or booking any service, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Services

1st Choice Mobile Welding provides mobile welding, fabrication, and repair services across Ontario.
All services are subject to technician availability, safety assessment, and site conditions.
We reserve the right to decline or postpone service if the work environment is unsafe or unsuitable for welding operations.

3. Bookings & Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or by WhatsApp.
Bookings are confirmed once date, location, and service type are agreed upon.
Emergency or same-day service is subject to technician availability and location.
Please provide accurate information when booking (address, material type, etc.) to ensure timely service.

4. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the client.
Final pricing may vary depending on material costs, scope changes, or on-site conditions.
Additional charges may apply for travel, consumables, or unforeseen complications.
Written estimates are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

5. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of service, unless prior arrangements are made.
We accept cash, e-transfer, or approved payment methods.
Late or non-payment may result in additional charges and/or withholding of future service.
Deposits may be required for large or custom fabrication projects.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Same-day cancellations may be subject to a service call fee.
In case of weather delays or equipment issues, we will notify you promptly to reschedule.

7. Safety & Liability

Clients must ensure that the work area is safe, accessible, and free of flammable materials.
Our technicians follow all CSA and provincial safety standards.
We are not liable for damages resulting from unsafe site conditions, pre-existing equipment issues, or client negligence.
All work is performed using appropriate PPE, grounding, and inspection procedures.

8. Warranty

Workmanship warranty applies to welding repairs and fabrication for 30 days from completion, unless otherwise specified.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, or third-party alterations.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, images, text, and materials on our website are the property of 1st Choice Mobile Welding and may not be copied, redistributed, or used without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure safe, quality service, 1st Choice Mobile Welding shall not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or website.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Any disputes shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Ontario courts.

13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business practices or legal requirements.
All updates will be posted on our website with the effective date.

Return and Refund Policy

1. Overview

At 1st Choice Mobile Welding, customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Because our services are custom, on-site, and labor-based, refunds are handled carefully and assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We aim to ensure every job is completed to a high professional standard and as agreed upon before work begins.

2. Service Nature

Most of our work — including mobile welding, fabrication, and on-site repairs — involves customized, non-returnable services.
Once labor and materials have been used on-site, the service is considered delivered and non-refundable.

However, if you experience any issue with workmanship or quality, please contact us immediately. We’ll review the concern and take corrective action such as repair, adjustment, or partial refund where appropriate.

3. Eligibility for Refund or Adjustment

Refunds or adjustments may be approved only if:

The service was not performed as described or agreed in writing.
A deposit was paid but no service or material costs were incurred.
A duplicate payment or incorrect billing occurred.
A job is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment (materials or travel costs may still apply).

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

Work already completed or partially completed on-site.
Delays caused by unsafe site conditions, customer unavailability, or lack of access.
Changes in project scope after work has started.
Custom fabrication or cut materials that cannot be reused.

5. Deposits

For larger or custom fabrication projects, deposits are required to reserve materials and scheduling.
Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered or fabrication has begun, but may be credited toward future work at our discretion.

6. Process for Requesting a Refund

To request a review or refund, please contact us at info@1stchoiceweld.com within 7 days of service completion and include:

Invoice or receipt number
Description of the issue
Photos or details (if applicable)

Our management team will review the claim within 3–5 business days and respond with a resolution.
